Books for the June Meeting

  1. The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova    [My sister has been bugging me to read this one...she says it's really good!]
  2. The Crucible  [I'm trying to stick with the Modern/Classic picks for the month.  I was going to choose the Count of Monte Cristo...but then I realized it was too long to read it and another book in one month.  It's 1400 pages!]

I hope these books are okay with everyone.  Happy reading!  :-)

Sounds good, thanks Emily!
Wow, the Historian looks long. Eep. At least the Crucible makes up for it. :-) I'll give them a shot!
Do you mean Aurthur Miller's The Crucible?

Can we have the June meeting the Sunday before you leave? What date would that be, can you check?
I didn't realize there was more than one. The one I'm talking about is by Aurthur Miller. The last Sunday I'll be here is June 17th. It is Father's Day...but I'll probably do something with my In-Laws earlier in the day anyways. Does that day work? I'd be willing to do it the 10th too. What do you think?
I will ask the gang.
